In my work I explore the detached relationship to transitory spaces while travelling between here and there. These spaces act as poetic areas for contemplation and reflection, bringing awareness to the influence of technology. In painting I find a metaphor that is synonymous with travel. Influenced by varying painting movements and motifs, I juxtapose these different elements to evoke a psychological response in my viewer.
