I am deeply intrigued by the universe, the planets, and the galaxies as I find them very complex and unpredictable. The universe is really appealing since we cannot predict what will happen to it. As a parallel we also cannot know or predict our future. My intention in painting a science series is to suggest a space through which the viewer can wander visually and mentally; I am striving to play between flatness and depth. In completing my artworks, I like using physical processes, doing some dripping, pouring, and brushing.
