I am fascinated by existence. I have never really come to terms with the idea that I am alive and could die at any time; it is difficult to comprehend and even more difficult to accept. I want to question the ways individuals and cultures navigate a life that leads to death. I am not as interested in how or why we are here as I am in our existential plight. Through my work I want to participate in humanity’s ongoing struggle with mortal life.
