I am an interdisciplinary artist primarily working within the mediums of painting, drawing, and sound. My work discusses the intersubjective relationships that operate between the subject, artist, and viewer. I exclusively “paint from life” and am concerned with notions around human connection, personal narrative, and the simultaneity of collapsed time. Currently I am working on a series that allows me to explore these concepts through portraiture, which I perceive as an act of storytelling.
