In September of 2008 I discovered a canoe on the lawn of a Coal Harbor condominium development. With a little help from some friends, I embarked on a journey to portage the canoe down Denman Street and sail to school via English Bay. These stills are part of a longer slide show. The resulting images became vehicles for exploring issues of identity and urbanism within the city.
