My work centres on my interest in light and explores ideas embodied within that. Light to me is soft to the touch like a sponge. If pressure is applied, it will deform, similar to how a mattress will curve around a resting body. This piece is part of a larger work titled Sum Over Paths (Non-Site Triangulation), which is a collection of objects that refers to a series of walks I had taken. These walks are enacted as a means of engaging with and exploring light as well as negotiating the built environment and the history of the city.
