Rocky met Roslyn, Roslyn met Lillian, and Lillian met a man named George.
Consider this an invitation, if you will. An experiment of sorts. To engage with notions of self in relation to other, and continuity in relation to change. By way of the body and beginning in the middle — with sensation. Sensation in motion through time. Time for will and desire to fold over into loss and mourning, and time for loss and mourning to fold back into will and desire.
Time for return.
Composed as a multi-channel time-based media installation, ‘OCTOBER a life’ draws on the autobiographical impulse to evoke the possibilities of becoming.
