E3 Rollator: A Walking Assistant for Seniors

My intention for this project is to enhance seniors’ quality of life by offering them independence with an improved rollator. The critical problem with current rollators is that users have difficulty reaching for the doorknob to open a door and proceeding through the doorway. Not only does my new, movable seat and storage component solve the problem by allowing users to place themselves in the middle of the rollator, it also assists them to walk with correct posture. When users reach a door they can easily push it open with the two wheels attached to the tray.
