As a first-generation Filipino-American, experiencing multiculturalism and continuously questioning my own identity have both been enriching to my everyday life experience and vital to informing my personal design practice. Through my interdisciplinary education and travels abroad, I have come to realize the importance of learning how to become part of and help produce catalysts for ecological and social change. The change that I see myself co-creating and becoming part of serves to protect cultural bio-diversity and uses art, design, and multimedia as tools for empowerment.
