We as humans have a unique relationship and connectivity with the physical world, an enigmatic interaction that triggers a sense of intrigue. Landscape is the catalyst for my painting practice to explore the areas between and beyond the tangible. Nature has the ability to renew, regenerate, reclaim, and transform the traces of human impact. My painting process comes to rest on the edge of ambiguity and abstraction, a language that allows me to collapse multiple points in space and time and blend them into a single image. Memories and beliefs recede and give way to new perceptions of shifting realities.
