I’m interested in how to make art in a culture that is, by and large, distracted. We live in a society and time where so much of what we experience comes in fragments, and I am curious about how this constant disruption plays a part in the production of memory. What has influenced me to pursue this idea is my own experience and frustration with the inability to feel a part of my own culture and time, due to its highly disjointed nature.
