Each typeface is the result of a very careful and painstaking design process. However, typography is so much a part of our lives that it is easy to take it for granted. As a designer, selecting or using the right typefaces is very important. There needs to be a better way to educate students about characteristics of typefaces. Therefore, I designed a broadsheet-size newspaper for students just starting to learn about typography. In the newspaper there are informative articles and narrative stories about Times New Roman. Because I selected Times New Roman, I chose the newspaper format.
