Do You Know Your Cell Phone Etiquette?
cell phone booth, 5' 8", galvanized sheet metal, 3/16" flat bars for legs; booklet, 6" x 4", placed in the booth
This is a campaign that promotes cell phone etiquette in public. It is an absurd project intended to bring consciousness to people who use cell phones in a socially inappropriate way. The campaign includes installation of cell phone booths in public spaces around the city, booklets with basic rules of cell phone etiquette, and a website. The cell phone booth is intended to make a statement, grab the attention of the audience, and provoke curiosity—it is the vehicle for delivering the message.
