It has been said that you can watch a good comedy once and laugh, but you can watch a great comedy multiple times and not be jaded by it. I love creating characters with extremely simple designs that can best accommodate the gags and story without compromising on the animation. A good example is Bugs Bunny—his design has changed over the years, but his character still evokes laughter. Gophers in Space is my personal, humble attempt to recreate the simplified beauty of the great classic gag cartoons using a modern medium.
