Calling Light is a 2-D animated film about an angel who descends to earth during humanity’s most unfortunate situations. The angel helps relieve humanity’s suffering by using her feathers to grant wishes. The needy, having their desires and wishes fulfilled, continue to ask for more until the angel has lost all her feathers. The people’s greed creates a vicious cycle in which they continue to strip the angel of her power by breaking off her wings. After using up the angel’s power, the people forget about her and go off seeking their next, never-ending hopelessness.
